Designed by Italian tubing and framebuilding specialist Columbus, the **Compass Carbon Tapered Integrated Headset** delivers the stiff, ultra-precise steering foundation required by modern disc and rim road, gravel, and cyclocross builds.

The upper assembly features an integrated 16 mm carbon fiber gap cap that serves as both a weather-resistant dust cover and an aerodynamic spacer, reducing the need for additional micro-spacers under the stem. Both upper and lower angular contact bearings (ACB) feature heat-treated stainless steel balls and races oriented at 45°×45° to handle high axial and radial forces under aggressive braking and cornering.
